Sole Placements only collects personal information necessary for one or more of its functions or activities. Personal Information collected will be used for a specific purpose, such as to seek employment on your behalf and to advise you of employment positions which may be suitable for you.

We may also use your personal information for related purposes such as to keep you informed of the services we provide and to generally manage our relationship with you.

Your personal information (including any sensitive information you disclose to us) may be disclosed to Approved Third Parties, which include your current and future employers, our professional advisors and our Clients (including legal firms such as Gadens Lawyers, Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Allens Arthur Robinson). If you do not want your personal information disclosed to certain people or employers then please tell us so that such disclosures are not made.

Our Clients are your potential employers. They may keep your personal information for a period of 12 months (or in some cases longer) from the time it is first presented to them so that they may consider you for future employment prospects.

Your personal information will not be sold to anyone. We take reasonable steps to ensure that Approved Third Parties only handle personal information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles.

De-identified information about your skills and abilities will be published in newsletters we distribute to our Clients.

Anonymity and Consequences

The provision of your personal information is voluntary, but if this information is not provided Sole Placements may not be able to provide you with the services you request.
